Puri Pondok Dawa Villa - Kusamba

My wife and I stayed at this wonderful villa on our recent holiday to Bali. We were greeted by very friendly staff making us feel welcome and the hospitality during our stay was second to none. This is a very modern Villa with excellent decor throughout. The proprieters catered for our every need from providing transport to and from the airport, providing bicycles for hire to recommending places to visit and some wonderful restaurants to eat. If visiting this area do stay at Puri Pondok Villa, you will not be disappointed.

We found our stay at Puri Pondok Dawa Villa excellent .. on arrival we were made very welcome .. the room standard was very high .. the large king size bed was so comfortable.. And we had a great sea view from our balcony .. situated beside the local village .. we were able to experience the real Bali .. the villa had free cycles and we had a fabulous time cycling through the small roads .. beside the rice fields and small villages .. stunning scenery .. I thoroughly recommend this viila .. the breakfast was excellent .. we opted for Indonesian .. served at the pool .. The villa provided free transport to the Lombok ferry terminal at Padang Bai .. which was only 15 minutes from the villa

We usually stay in Kuta area .. but decided to travel to get away from the wall to wall bars and restaurants .. looked at reviews .. and chose this villa .. and were not disappionted .. ticks all the boxes .. nice pool .. free wi fi .. very nice room .. great staff ..good ( not expensive ) food .. definitely reccommend.. the villa is beside a local village . no tourist shops or restaurants .. just Balinese charm .. beautiful

My wife and I decided to take a break .. away from the hustle of Kuta . We opted for the villa because of the facilities offered and the location .. as it was less than 1 hour traveling time from Kuta . On arrival the staff were very friendly .. our room was very spacious and comfortable . It was so peaceful and relaxing by the pool.. there was also free cycles available .. and we had an amazing time .. taking a leisurely cycle trip along the small country roads . breakfast was excellent .. for value for money and facilities on offer I would definitely recommend this villa

We have been travelling around Bali .. and chose this villa .. based on facilities and reviews .. and we certaintly weren't disappointed .. we have stayed in different locations in rural areas .. and this was by far the best for the price and the facilities it offered .. the Villa was spotless .. room was very spacious .. the bed was so comfortable .. breakfast was excellent .. and the staff very attentive .. the free wI-fi was a good strength .. ( I was able to use it at the pool) .. we are travelling to Lombok . and on our return . staying for 2 more days .. I would definitely recommend this villa

Puri Pondok Dawa Villa is located in a very nice area of Bali. The house is spotless and the food served is absolutely delicious. The staff are very nice and friendly and really make you feel at home. There is a swimming pool just outside the front door and a Gazebo where you can relax after a swim. Transport was laid on for me at very short notice with a driver at a very reasonable cost without any fuss. The view from the house is breathtaking spectacular and i will most definitely return to this paradise in the near future. I have recommended Puri Pondok Dawa Villa to my friends who go on annual golfing trips. I hope that they enjoy the experience there as much as i did

My wifw, our two boys (14 and 11) and I stayed at Puri Podok Dawa Villa and we were so happy there. The family was so kind to us and although the couple didn't speak a great deal of English, they arranged a translator for us, who was also a wonderful person. They told us about a special ceremony that was taking place in the village which we were graciously invited to attend. Everyone was so helpful. The house is fantastic, the rooms are spotless, the food was delicious. The pool was also very nice (although we didn't have a lot of time to enjoy it.)We also enjoyed staying in a small village. All in all, we loved it and would recommend it highly.

Nice hotel with a beautiful view. It's new, in a nice condition and very clean. We liked the pool. The staff was friendly.

The location is rather difficult. The distance to the next city, Klungkung, is a few kilometers, but in that heat and terrain it's not a walking distance. The only way to get out of the hotel is to book transportation with the hotel. That has to be done in advance and can be costly compared to the local prices. Getting back to the hotel is easier and cheaper if you can guide the taxi driver to the place, they don't usually know where it is.

We booked this place rather last minute on our two week holiday to Bali and we certainly weren't disappointed. This was the nicest B&B we ever stayed in and our hosts couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome, thus making this a very enjoyable stay for us. We only booked for one night but stayed for three as the staff at Puri Pondok Dawa Villa made us feel as if we were part of the family, a home from home. The place was immaculate with outstanding attention to detail, modern and tastefully decorated throughout. If we ever return to Bali this place will be number 1 on our list of places to return to.

Dat er achteraf kosten werden berekend voor het bakje koffie dat we aangeboden kregen tijdens het ontbijt iedere ochtend.

Gelegen in authentiek Balinees dorpje. Fantastisch uitzicht. Zeer gastvrij personeel. Luxueuze inrichting van slaap- en badkamer. Nauwelijks toeristen in de wijde omtrek, ook niet in Klungkung.

Wees ervan bewust dat in een Balinees dorpje geen faciliteiten zoals een geldautomaat, supermarkt op loopafstand zijn. Beheerder is wel bereid tegen vergoeding je naar Klungkung te rijden.

Plutôt chambre d'hôte. Le personnel était sympa et disponible. Le plus, l'hôtel prête de vélos pour faire des balades dans les alentours, un vrai régal.

Située pas très loin d'une route principal, l'endroit reste calme mais un peu éloigné du village. Pas des commerces aux alentours, hôtel sympa pour rester quelques nuits pas plus. Un peu cher

Really nice privat house with very nice and luxurious rooms. Very frendly staff. The villa is a little bit far away from everything, but also because of that is a gut place to relax.

Breakfast could be better. Not all rooms has a toilett/bathroom inside.

Nous avons sejourné deux jours dans cette guesthouse. nous avons apprécié le confort des chambres, la gentillesse et l'efficacité du personnel, le côté spacieux de la maison général et surtout sa localisation ( proximité de la sidemen road). Les campagnes alentours sont magnifiques et une balade s'impose.
